Recalling her early life, Heather was born on June 3, 1970, in Jonesville, North Carolina, the USA as Heather Schoeny to native American parents.

Regarding her education, Cox completed her schooling in her native place and joined the University of Pacific. In the University, Cox earned a volleyball scholarship and joined the team as lead women’s player. In the year 1992, she graduated with a major degree in mass communication from the University.

Career:

After her graduation, Heather started her career as a professional volleyball player and joined the United States National Volleyball Team, and played with the team for eight years. She started her broadcasting career as a reporter and analyst for Fox Sports Net in the year 1993.

After that, she worked for ABC Sports and later joined as an ESPN’s Coverage Reporter for college football for ABC, NCAA basketball for ESPN, as well as college football for ESPN.

After that, she worked as an analyst and reporter for Goodwill Games until the year 2002. Currently, Heather Cox is busy working as a sideline reporter for NBC and NFL’s reporter for Thursday Night Football.
